Child and Adolescent Therapy
Ages 8+
The therapy sessions are personalized to meet the specific needs of each child. I will meet the needs of the child whether that's getting on the floor and playing or creating a safe space to decompress. With a focus on openness, honesty, and empathy, I work collaboratively with individuals and their families to develop effective treatment plans that promote healing and long-term well-being.
OCD and Anxiety Therapy
ERP and ICBT
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is a type of cognitive-behavioral therapy used to treat disorders, particularly Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). ERP gradually exposing the patient to their feared stimuli while preventing them from engaging in their usual compulsive behaviors. This process helps the patient to learn that their anxiety will decrease over time without engaging in compulsions, leading to a reduction in symptoms and an improved quality of life. Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy utilizes changing our cognitive perception of the OCD and allowing us to focus on the reality of what is happening around us.
Depression Therapy
Depression
Depression can be a difficult and isolating experience, but it's important remember that you are not alone. There are many resources available to help manage your symptoms and connect with others who understand what you're going through. Whether it's therapy, support groups, or simply reaching out to a friend or loved one, know that there is hope and help available. We will work together to challenge your negative thought patterns and behaviors to live a values-driven life.
